Scenic Designer

Jarrod Bray has designed scenery and lighting for theater, opera, and film across the U.S. Before attending graduate school in Kansas City, he served as the production designer for the Syracuse Film Co. and as the scenic designer for the world premier opera Sundance for the Syracuse Society for New Music. Jarrod has worked as lead designer for the Weathervane Playhouse where he was awarded “Best Scenic Design” by the Theater Roundtable of Columbus for his work on The Foreigner, and he was the resident designer for the Kensington School of the Arts in Detroit, Mi. Jarrod currently resides in Boston, Ma. with his wife Laura, where he is working as the properties master for Brandeis University and freelance designing. . His most recent Boston productions have been The Good Negro for Company One, and Boom for The New Repertory Theater. Jarrod is also the resident scenic designer for The New London Barn Playhouse in New London Nh.
