JARROD BRAY
Scenic Designer


Jarrod Bray has designed scenery and lighting for theater, opera, and film across the U.S. Before attending graduate school in Kansas City, he served as the production designer for the Syracuse Film Co. and as the scenic designer for the world premier opera Sundance for the Syracuse Society for New Music. Previously, Jarrod has worked as lead designer for the Weathervane Playhouse where he was awarded “Best Scenic Design” by the Theater Roundtable of Columbus for his work on The Foreigner, and he was the resident designer for the Kensington School of the Arts in Detroit, Mi. Jarrod received his B.A. in Theater Arts from Cal-Poly in San Luis Obispo, Ca., and recently received his M.F.A. in scenic design at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, under the mentorship of John Ezell. In the fall Jarrod plans on joining his wife in Boston where he will begin to freelance design.
